Wet facades
A wet facade, technically known as ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System), is a contact insulation system glued directly to the load-bearing wall.
It consists of thermal insulation boards (EPS polystyrene or mineral wool), a reinforcing layer with a fiberglass mesh, and a final surface finish — silicate, silicone, acrylic or mineral plaster.
It's one of the most widespread and affordable insulation solutions in Slovakia, especially suited to apartment and family houses with flat facade surfaces.
